Description
Carton flow rack systems are designed for cartons( not pallets) to be stored and picked in a FIFO(First-In&First-Out) basis. Like pallet flow racks, cartons are also be stored on inclined tracks with rollers or load-bearing wheels. When a carton is removed from the front, the one behind it will immediately slide up to take its place, ensuring automatic stock rotation and increasing picking efficiency. Using gravity to move inventory along, carton flow rack system offers many benefits over static shelving including enhanced workflow, productivity, accuracy and lower initial and operational costs, along with increased employee safety and comfort. In addition, this rack systems are available in various sizes and can accommodate to various products from odd-shaped cases, cartons, bins, etc. Making merchandise remains better organized and easily accessible, this application is particularly suitable for assembly line, order picking and dispatch area and can also be added into existing selective pallet racking systems.

System Configuration
Carton flow Storage rack can also be incorporated both Pallet Racking and Long Span Shelving systems to maximize your loading capacity needs and your picking efficiency. A series of gravity tracks transport suitably packaged products from replenishment aisles to picking faces.
Cartons are loaded onto fixed lanes of inclined gravity rollers which are set at a fixed gradient. When a load is taken from the picking face, the next one rolls into position, with replenishment stock loaded at the opposite (upper) end of the lane. Following a First-in/First-Out pinciple, stock rotation is therefore automatic with minimum fork lift truck travel distance.
